As an Access Control Officer in an automotive location, you will help support a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with professional service. • Pay rate: $27.33 / Hour
• Schedule: Wednesday 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM; Thursday 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to facility entrances, restricted areas, parking locations, and/or production-related areas in accordance with established access-control procedures.
• Verify credentials, process visitor and contractor access, maintain required entry records, and report access discrepancies to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
