As an Access Control Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage access points, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, and assist with security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-control logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; escalate concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including business areas, entry points, and perimeter, to help identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and site personnel while supporting a professional and controlled technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
