Security Officer Part Time Access Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Corpus Christi, TX, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities through required reports and logs.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
