Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and help to deter unauthorized entry while supporting daily operations at a technology-focused location.
- Observe for potential maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and provide timely reports to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
