Security Officer Mobile Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location in Columbia, MO. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving locations, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and unauthorized access to deter theft and other security-related concerns through a professional presence.
• Communicate with site management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
