Security Officer Mobile Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology and research location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused research location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access credentials when required, and assist with visitor processing and directional support in accordance with location procedures.
• Support incident reporting, shift pass-down communication, and other assigned security-related duties that help maintain order and continuity of operations throughout the location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
