As a Security Officer Unarmed Alarm Monitoring Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol an active construction location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of construction areas, access points, parking locations, equipment storage areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Document observations, patrol activity, and security-related incidents in clear, timely reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
