What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Perform screening of individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with post orders and location requirements to help support compliance with security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site representatives and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to loading, shipping, and receiving areas where conditions and responsibilities may vary by site.
Minimum Requirements
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
