Security Officer - Midday Shift

About the role

As a Security Officer Driver for Unarmed Patrol Response in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

• CPR certification is preferred

Pay & Schedule

Full Time position at $17.25 / Hour. Schedule: Monday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Tuesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wednesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
