What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with site protocols and applicable screening procedures.
- Monitor entry points, loading and receiving areas, and other assigned posts to help to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, dock areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with duties and conditions varying by location.
Minimum Requirements
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
