Summary Of Essential Functions And Responsibilities

Aid in managing wild animals and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist guests and hosts with vehicle issues, transporting funds, and providing first aid. Assist the Safety-First Aid Department and enforce security procedures. Control and direct traffic, monitor security systems, patrol buildings and parking lots, and respond to emergencies. Provide protection services for dignitaries and assist with lost property.

Education And Experience Required

  • Able to cope with situations firmly, courteously, tactfully, and with respect for the rights of others
  • At least one year of experience working in a similar role
  • Prior Law Enforcement or Security related experience preferred
  • State of Tennessee certified as a Security Officer
  • First Aid and CPR certification required or ability to obtain a certification in a timely manner
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license, proof of auto liability insurance, and acceptable motor vehicle driving record
  • Pass background screening, including criminal history, credit check, and motor vehicle record check
  • Must not have a felony conviction or certain violations of laws or city ordinances
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Applications

Physical Requirements | Environmental Conditions

  • Lifting and carrying: Occasional to frequent lifting of up to 100 lbs utilizing company’s safety guidelines for safe lifting
  • Mobility: Intermittent to prolonged sitting, standing, and/or walking for duration of shift, up to 16 hours
  • Repetitive movements: Perform repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift, including repeated use of hands, arms, or other body parts as part of typical job functions
  • Environmental conditions: Perform work tasks in varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat
