Security Officer - Level III - 3rd Shift- Dollywood Theme Park - Full-Time Year Around

About the role

The Security Officer (Level III) position at Dollywood Parks & Resorts is responsible for protecting people and property, maintaining a peaceful and safe atmosphere, and enforcing security procedures. Responsibilities

• Aid in wild animal control and monitoring
• Assist guests and hosts with vehicle problems
• Transport and escort Hosts transporting company funds
• Support the Safety-First Aid Department as needed
• Control park access at Host and service entrances
• Monitor Security systems including Fire Suppression and Park alarm systems
• Patrol buildings and guest/host parking lots
• Respond to calls for service regarding unruly guests, theft, and other incidents
• Provide dignitary protection services for visiting celebrities
• Take possession of lost property and return it to Lost & Found

Requirements

• Able to cope with situations firmly, courteously, and tactfully
• At least one year of experience working in a similar role, with preference for prior Law Enforcement or Security experience
• State certification as a Security Officer and license as a Private Protection Services
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to develop firearm skills and obtain first aid and CPR certifications
• Pass a physical examination and background check
• Good moral character and professional appearance
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights up to 60 ft
• Comply with company drug and alcohol-free workplace policies
