Security Officer I - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of and enforce gaming laws and regulations.
• Complete records using shift activity log according to established guidelines.
• Safeguard assets, guests, team members, and provide a safe environment.
• Perform chip and credit transactions, money and marker transfers, verify amounts by signature.
• Respond to emergencies, radios for backup, notify Security leadership team.
• Communicate with various departments as needed.
• Check guests' identification, escalate issues to leadership.
• Greet guests, perform walking/driving escorts, respond to guest needs.
• Ensure crowd control, report illnesses and injuries, perform minor first aid.
• Surveil and watch crowd, stop inappropriate behavior, follow property events.
• Follow guest cut-off procedures, ensure work area cleanliness.
• Support superior customer service, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Interact with guests and colleagues diplomatically and tactfully.
• Obtain Gaming Permit, drive legally, complete ServSafe Alcohol training.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma.
• One to three months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mentally and physically capable to handle emergencies and high-stress situations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to communicate verbally using a two-way radio.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pass ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
