About the role

As a Security Officer Hospital Behavioral Response in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professionalism in responding to evolving needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
