Security Officer Hospital Response

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, direction, and/or badge verification in accordance with location protocols and assigned post orders.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must be able to work in an environment that includes a hospital morgue.
- Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in accordance with site protocols and applicable law.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
