Job Description
As a Security Officer Hospital Incident Response in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

- DayTime: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Tue 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Wed 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and compliance with facility entry procedures while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
- Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Willing to receive required vaccinations for hospital assignments.
- Willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
- Able to restrain individuals when necessary.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
