Security Officer - Healthcare Center

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Center in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and help support controlled access for authorized patients, visitors, staff, and vendors in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $17.38 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM - 04:30 PM
