Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff. Pay & Schedule
- Position Type: Part Time
- Pay Rate: $23.32 / Hour
- Schedule: Day Time, Monday 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Tuesday 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
