As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will monitor entry points, verify access, greet customers and visitors, and help maintain a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points for a retail location, verifying authorized entry, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and issuing or collecting credentials as directed.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify access-control concerns and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel, delivery drivers, vendors, and members of the public while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
