As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Check In in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity and security‑related systems, and provide professional communication and customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor the front desk, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue and collect access badges, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with location requirements.
• Screen incoming calls, receive deliveries, and direct guests to appropriate contacts while maintaining professional communication and confidentiality.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Observe and report unusual activity, access‑control concerns, and facility issues to help deter unauthorized entry at an aerospace and defense location.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Daytime)
