About the role
As a Front Desk Security Professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, support access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and clear communication will help promote a secure environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor visitor access, greet and direct guests, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access and visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Monitor front-desk communications, receive calls and deliveries, and coordinate with building staff, client representatives, and emergency responders when required.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of lobby activity and reporting unusual or suspicious conditions through established procedures.
Requirements
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Have customer service experience (preferred).
- Have access control or badge experience (preferred).
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Friday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
