Security Officer Full Time Visitor Check In

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a retail and mall location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help create a positive experience for guests, tenants, and staff by responding to inquiries, monitoring entry activity, and reporting concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, professional front-desk presence and customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, vendors, and/or contractors at a retail location.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific policies, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general property information, and coordinate with appropriate site contacts for visitor inquiries or service needs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe front-desk and lobby activity, report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns, and complete required incident reports and daily activity documentation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Pay

$22.15 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
