Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol Security Officer in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, following site procedures for entry, credential verification, and reporting of unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and notable conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
