About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will support a financial institution location in Charlotte, NC. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity; verify credentials and direct individuals according to site requirements.
- Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
