Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading automotive location in Vance, AL, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and required information to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor entry processes.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard Card or license.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$17.50 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
