Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Support

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming, secure environment. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, and help maintain orderly entry and exit activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports and document incidents, observations, and interactions according to site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
