About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Review in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will document security-related activity and assist employees and visitors using communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading and receiving locations, and the business perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe employee, visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with the orderly flow of people and materials.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

$18.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thursday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sunday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
