About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific protocols to maintain an orderly environment.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

$26.00 / hour
