Responsibilities
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Vacaville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a pharmaceutical healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization in accordance with site procedures and maintain required logs and incident documentation.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly environment around pharmaceutical operations by reporting potential policy violations, access-control concerns, and conditions that may affect daily operations.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
