Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Inspection in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials or delivery documentation as required, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $22.70 / Hour

Schedule: Day Time, Monday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Tuesday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Wednesday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
