About the Role
As a Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine driving patrols, monitor assigned areas, respond to alarms, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document activity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders regarding security-related matters.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Have alarm panel experience (preferred).
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
