Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR Patrol in Warrenton, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access awareness, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide welcoming customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and public responders as needed
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including directing guests to appropriate departments and supporting site-specific access procedures
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• CPR certification is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $20.64 / Hour. Position Type: Full Time. Schedule: Day Time, Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM.
