Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and following site‑specific entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.00 per hour.
