As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol in Ellisville, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values through teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility operations areas, access points, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $12.36 / Hour

• Tuesday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
