About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location in Miami, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and respond to alarms as needed. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, entrances, exits, perimeter areas, and amenity spaces to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
  • Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with property management, emergency responders, and the public in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.50 / hour
