As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Patrol in Lawnside, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, access points, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.91 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, Wednesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM each day.
