Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Access Control Patrol Security Officer in Concord, NC at an Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will document activity, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, incidents, and security-related policy concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience.
• X-Ray screening experience.

Pay

$18.36 / hour
