Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Patrol in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and communication logs in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred skills

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay

$19.50 / Hour

Schedule

Daytime, Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
