Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Awareness in Pico Rivera, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with professional customer service. You will document observations and communicate concerns while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the food and beverage production location, including exterior areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor/vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Report unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Monday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Tuesday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Saturday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM; Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
