About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and assist with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating with site management, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Day Time: Wed - Sun, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Pay

$18.00 / Hour

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
