Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Care

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and client representatives by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and support the implementation of established entry, delivery, and contractor procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
