About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in SUN VALLEY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document relevant activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, vehicle and pedestrian traffic issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and promptly report concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Day time, Monday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tuesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Saturday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Sunday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
