Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and contribute to Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, customer service spaces, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $27.27 / Hour

Schedule: Wednesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Friday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
