Security Officer Full Time - Site Access

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Savannah, GA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and use teamwork and integrity to deliver dependable service within Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.

$19.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
