Security Officer Full Time Access

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Westminster, SC, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, issue access credentials as authorized, and report access irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Tuesday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
