About the role

As a Full Time Access Security Officer in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will manage visitor and employee access, issue and verify badges, monitor alarm panels, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication. Responsibilities include using computer or tablet systems, responding to access-related concerns, and helping maintain an orderly workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor and contractor badges, maintain entry records, and communicate access concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and access control issues accurately, and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Thursday: 11:00 PM - 03:00 AM
  • Friday: 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
  • Saturday: 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
  • Sunday: 05:00 PM - 05:00 AM
