As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a leading tech location, where you will help monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. This role combines customer service, clear communication, and attention to security-related concerns while staying visible and responsive.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries entering the location in accordance with access procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry points and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, clear communication, and appropriate escalation to site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access or disruption.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
