Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, personal property, and/or incoming items in accordance with post orders and site policies, documenting screening-related activity and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated screening areas, entrances, docks, and perimeter locations as assigned, with working conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
