About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Richfield, OH. You will monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and delivery access, maintain accurate logs, and provide professional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access points and verify employee, visitor, contractor, and/or driver credentials before permitting entry.
- Maintain accurate access logs and coordinate the entry and exit of vehicles, shipments, and personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
