Security Officer Full Time Perimeter Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology‑focused location while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document relevant observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when required.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain accurate activity logs in alignment with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Possession of a guard card or license (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
